Requirements Engineer in Software Development (f/m/x)
We are seeking a skilled Requirements Engineer to join our dynamic software development team. In this role, you will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and defining requirements to ensure our software solutions meet customer needs and business objectives. You will work closely with stakeholders to translate their vision into actionable specifications and collaborate with the development team to ensure successful implementation.
Your mission:
- Gather and analyze business and user requirements from stakeholders.
- Translate requirements into detailed functional specifications and user stories.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly.
- Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals and project timelines, in collaboration with the Product Owner
- Conduct regular reviews and updates of requirements based on feedback and changing needs.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders and the development team to ensure clarity and alignment.
- Assist in the design and validation of test cases to ensure requirements are met.
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or risks.
Your core competencies:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Requirements Engineer or in a similar role within software development.
- Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to translate complex business needs into clear and concise requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Experience with agile development methodologies is a plus.
- Familiarity with requirements management tools and software.
