Senior Full-Stack Developer (w/m/x) - Vienna, AT

Your Profile

We are looking for an experienced senior full-stack developer to join our team as a full-time working employee. The ideal candidate has demonstrated experience in designing and building complex systems - from architecture to deployment - ideally in an enterprise environment. This position requires a strong understanding of best practices in software development, the ability to work in a team, and the ability to work independently on complex projects:

• Design, develop and maintain high-quality and scalable web and mobile applications
• Participation in all phases of the software development cycle
• Initial creation of well-documented and testable code
• Conducting code reviews and providing feedback to other developers
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and other technical issues
• Stay up to date with the latest technologies and trends in web and mobile development
• Mentoring junior developers and contributing to the overall knowledge of the team

Your Qualifications

• Degree in computer science or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Hands-on experience in software development with a focus on full-stack development
• Proven experience with React, React Native, and C#
• Proven track record with relational databases (e.g. Microsoft SQL Server)
• In-depth knowledge of object-oriented programming principles
• Experience with RESTful APIs and service-oriented architecture
• Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git)
• Experience with agile development methods (e.g. SAFe, Scrum)
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, strong communication and cooperation skills
• Fluency in German and/or English is a prerequisite

Bonus points

• Experience with specific test frameworks (e.g. XUnit, Playwright)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitLab CI/CD)
• Experience in dealing with legacy code
• Experience with PHP, Java, Backbone, jQuery
• Contributions to open-source projects
• Own projects to showcase the experience

Salary

The actual minimum salary is 75,000 EUR gross per year (on a 38.5-hour basis), the actual salary depends on your qualifications and experience. The collective agreement IT-KV ( EDV-KV ) applies.

Overtime

Any accrued overtime is partially compensated in the form of time off and partially paid out.
